DIY Dole Whip (Dairy Free!)

Hi all! Recently, I went on an incredible trip to Disneyland. It truly is the happiest place on earth. It is almost impossible to describe the magical energy in the air; the overall atmosphere is buzzing with fun and laughter. I definitely reverted back to my childlike self, with my Minnie Mouse ears on. Some of my favourite parts of the vacation included watching the fireworks, walking down main street, and eating DOLE WHIPS!

If you have never tried a Dole Whip, you need to keep reading this post so that you can make your own at home. It is so easy, yet so delicious. It is the perfect summer snack, and the best part is that it’s dairy free. I make mine with Stevia to minimize the sugar content, but plain white sugar will also work just fine to sweeten.

So… let’s get our Dole Whip on!

To start, here is what you’ll need:

1/2 cup pineapple juice

2 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (frozen)

5 ounces almond milk (unsweetened)

5 ounces coconut milk

1/4 tsp Stevia

1 pinch salt

Throw all of these ingredients in a blender, blend it until it’s ice-cream like consistency, and serve. (Yes it really is that simple)

I hope you enjoy; comment below to let me know what you think of this tasty treat!
